[Ashi the Annoying Poet]

|STYLE| Freestyle |NOTES| It's a fanfiction poetry, so I think you should at least know who Uchiha Itachi from Naruto is to fully understand the poem. I haven't touched it since I wrote it, and I know it could be a whole lot better.


Uchiha

He follows me

While in the shadows

I hide in fear.

Mitsukai

He watches me

I caught him staring

Only once

And in a second,

He is there,

Behind me,

A kunai at my throat.

His speed is unreachable.

Itachi

The cold metal touches my throat

He smirks

My breath is coming

In ragged gasps,

A small trail of blood

Trickles down my neck.

Ashurii

I know why he stalks me,

Why he goes to such lengths,

Revenge, he calls it.

I cannot escape from him,

So I comply.

He teleports me to his home

And I know in my heart

I will never leave again.

My screams echo through the corridors

And I know they’ll echo after I am gone

For, you see, I will die today.

I know, when his blood red eyes meet

My crystal orbs,

He’ll see my acceptance of my fate,

And then, I’ll be gone.

I know I am under his power

And that I’ll die today.

I am not happy

With this fate, but then,

Who would be?

I can feel his smirk from across the room

As he comes near,

My executioner with his blade in

The form of his eyes.

I turn to meet him.

I love anime, but I've never watched Naruto and don't really know what's going on except for the obvious death that might take place. The beginning was fantastic though it unraveled a little in the middle and just got insanely chilling at the very end (amazing!)

If it had more consistency it would be near perfect, but the idea of a fan-fic poem is interesting in and of itself.

Is it based on a character from Naruto, or is the person speaking in the poem rising against characters from the show?

The girl speaking is a Naruto OC character I made for a fanfiction. I wrote this at like, I don't know, two in the morning, I think. Thanks for the constuctive criticism and I'm glad you like it. :3

I have a one track mind so, all I can say is, HOLY CRAP, NARUTO ROCKS!! I have 3 posters of Itachi, and an Itachi card my boyfriend gave me It's probably obvious that Itachi is my favorite... Either way, I likie. (and no, that's not a spelling error. Likie. like-e)
