|TITLE| Today |RATING| PG |THEME| Philosophical(Kinda...) |NOTES| I have no clue what the theme could really be considered, but philosophical is the best match. ^.^ I'll admit, you have to be insane to understand the meaning of this poem... I want to see if anyone figures it out themselves ^.^
Today I will rise, No more pain, no more cries. The planets align and sing, The moon bleaches Earth clean. Voices emanate from shadows, and the non-believer never knows.
comes Tomorrow through the skies, of Pale blue loving light, The light of heart will rise, the sound of mind don't fight.
Today is just tomorrow, once yesterday has passed. today was filled with sorrow, feeling yesterday would last. tomorrow never comes, though I wish that it was here. Today will never leave, And cast's me into fear.
Leaves yesterday through skies, of a darkened new moon night, we won't think of all the lies, that are left within our sight.
Today is here for me, and today is here to leave. Today will always stay, though it's trying to give way. Boundaries non-existant, Sounds oh-so insistant. Today will always be my day, it doesn't matter what you say.

While I'm not sure what I could relate it to, The beginning sounded very much like when God takes all of His believers to heaven with him. The rhyming was very good, with not-so-simple words so my mind was kept guessing. It was deep to the point that I had to concentrate very hard and read it aloud to understand it, but it flowed VERY well and I think it was fantastically written. It was a very interesting read and I love to read your stuff.
You are a very interesting poet. I love how you can so thoroughly believe in God and you can show that through your poetry, and I think that's a fantastic gift. It's also very brave. VERY admirable, in my opinion. I know it's hard because of how people might judge you, but I am very proud of your work and I do hope you keep working hard. It was a fantastic read.

Thank you very much. And you did figure out a little about what it's about. I actually include God in alot of my work on accident, but I consider it a good thing. It's also a little about the human nature "We won't think of all the lies" Is talking about how we sometimes block out the things we don't like and only hear what we want to. And it also covers the topic of being yourself, especially in the last verse. That's pretty much it. I'm really glad you like it and I adore your interesting avatar with every ounce of my heart, so you know. Looks like something I would be doing in real life. *starts screaming and swinging head back and forth so that hair flies everywhere* It works even better, since my hair is extremely long. ^.^

Honestly, it has to be human nature to hear only what we want. Otherwise , we would be very very broken creatures. No matter what, some humans can just plain perservere. Through emotional, physical, any type of stress. Some humans just seem to rise through the pain and sorrow and take life by the reigns.
Ah , of course . Being yourself. Such a huge topic as a teenager. (I would know, I'm only 16.) It's incredible- isn't it? How just two little words can cause so much confusion within one's self? I think that's insane. But I do understand why it's so hard, I'm unsure if I even know myself quite as well as I tend to tell myself.
Of course, incorporating God into all you do is a very Christian way, and I'm very glad you embrace that. Some Christians tend to think that going to church on Sunday is all they need to do, and I think you are a prime example of a good Christian, from what I've heard of you. I'm impressed , it's an incredible thing to be able to do.
Haha, I'm sure you're getting sick of the praise, but the way I see it is : If I don't do it - who will ?
Ah, yeah, my avatar is like my life. I'm so stressed half the time, between my raging emotions and incredible ( and growing ) pile of schoolwork... Ah, it's all good. (I have very long hair as well. And on top of that - it's blonde . I figured the avatar was qutie fitting after that (: )

Heehee, I'm still the youngest? Well, you're dead on about much of that. Though my church pastor tells me I'm going to Hell for not spreading Christianity. But I see it as; I want to worship the lord, not take over the world. Others can believe what they want. And I'm not really getting sick of the praise, I just feel a little awkward. I'm not really used to compliments, y'know? And also, I have blond hair too. Ridiculously long. Past my butt. I know what you mean about schoolwork. Try balancing Karate on tuesday and thursday nights, marching band after school every day and science club the second tuesday of each month along with it all. Let's not forget I go to youthgroup on wendsday nights too and have a football game every Friday night. XD Geeze, I do even more than I thought.
