Alright, so you've looked around, read through the simple rules and are now wondering what half of the stuff on the sidebar mean, right? Or at least, we hope you do. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but you know, a cat has nine times to die, so it probably doesn't mind as much as it's human owner. I'll start from the top and whatever you know, just skip. So easy, right? That's the point. AS OF FRIDAY JUNE 25TH THINGS HAVE CHANGED!
|ALPHABET COMPLEX|
So. How many times ahve you read the words "Alphabet Complex" today? Probably a lot, but that's because we're very excited about it. It's a roleplay site, open to all members of AH, and only AH. So if you're not in the mood to write a poem, but want to roleplay something heartbreaking, that's the place to do it! Sam and xunpredictablel are amazing people ;3

|THE SPOTLIGHT|
The Spotlight was once judged by members, but only a handful of people ever really voted so it's different now. Instead of voting and nominations, your admin now peruses the awesomeness of what is AH, and looks for threads that have impressed her -- or has impressed the site. Spotlight members get colored names, their avatar, and a link to their work on the sidebar. We love giving credit to those who deserve it.
|MEMBER OF THE MONTH|
Member of the month was also judged by a poll. Now it's whoever made the most impression on me. Usually it's who's on, and talks to me... so .... talk to me! You're admin gets lonely ;3 Like the Spotlight winners, MOTM winners also get colorful names, and a place on the sidebar.
|MC WINNER|
MC's are Member Challenges. If you haven't seen the board yet, it's a good place to check. It is not a monthly contest, but instead a random, whenever-we-come-up-with-a-good-idea sort of challenge. In it, we bring the whole site in to participate. You decide whether you want to be part of the challenge without knowing what it is, and those who wish to participate are sent a private message detailing what they must complete. Whoever fulfills the requirements the best, is the winner. Their work is also moved into the Hall of Immortality.
|WORD OF THE MOMENT|
It used to be every week but that got tiresome for me, since I quickly ran out of words, and no one wanted to help the Admin. Sadness. Now, you guys can just send me random words at your leisure and I shall post it up! 'cause it's always more fun with someone does half the work for you lol

By far one our best features, in my opinion. Again, no more nominations, but it's still one of my favorites. I find a particular line of pure gold and I place it up on the bar! No one gets colorful names 'cause of this...but they can brag! I encourage bragging.
