Didn't notice as my lungs left me,
my body jolting on the floor.
Your eyes didn't even flicker
at the rage you forced my body into.
If I filled up all the pages of this book, would my mind sway from your betrayal? (Would it somehow make it okay?)
My hope says perhaps.
My reason screams never.
