Remember when we were little kids
When nothing mattered,
Remember when all we cared about were games?

All that mattered was getting out to play.
Or what you were going to do that day
Remember when we were little kids?

We could run and kick balls
Till the street lights turned on,
Remember when all we cared about were games?

We didn't care about wars,
Except the ones with our friends,
Remember when we were little kids?

We weren't stressed about tests or work.
We didn't care about the way people thought,
Remember when all we cared about were games?

Now that we're older we're terrified of everything.
Now we only think about other people's thoughts.
