The Chapters section is meant for those of us who are interested in writing Novels, or even novellas. Divided into chapters, it allows you to share without being completely done with the novel, and also gives you the chance to work out character and plot development between one chapter and the next. Knowing your audience (ie: us) is also something that helps develop the birth of a novel.
Whether it has a working title, or if you don't have the faintest idea about how it's going to end, post what you have, get feedback. Sometimes in discussion ideas come flowing to you; and there is always that nice feeling of having your work appreciated.
Requirements:
- If you've decided that you are going to post each chapter of your ongoing Novel/Novella pm me if you're interested in having your own subboard dedicated to it. I'll gladly make one, if it'll be easier for you to keep them in order.
- There is no limit on length (other than the one given by probards which I think is 15000 characters) but you can only post one chapter per thread.
- Take what praise or questions that are directed to you with a level of indulgence; not everyone is as intimate with your characters as you are. We may have questions, or need clarification.
- Be patient with responses.
- Please put a warning if your theme consists of racial discrimination, extreme language, nudity, extreme violence, etc etc
